Motorcycle and electronic bicycle export base in Jiangsu Province set up on 8th, Sep, 2006 is jointly approved by Department Of Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation and Financial Department in Jiangsu province. Through one year¡¯s construction, the base was upgraded to the national electronic bicycle export base on 7th Sep 2007. There are 15 motorcycle producing enterprises in the base have got the national qualification of entrance which produce the capacity of 1.2 million per year, 5 percent of national producing capacity. There are 186 electronic bicycle producing enterprises and more than 400 accessories producing enterprises in the base which produce 3.5 million electronic bicycles per year, one fifth of the national producing capacity. There are 12 kinds of famous brands such as national inspection-free product, the National Famous Brand etc. In 2007, the motorcycles and electronic bicycles also their accessories have been exported to the five continents, 124 countries and regions with the total profits of 136 million US dollars, up to 23.41% over the same period of last year. Meanwhile, these enterprises of the base have set up the joint venture and wholly owned enterprises in Russia, Egypt, Malaysia, Philippi, Mexico, Dubai and Brazil, etc.
